It’s a great contrast to the current cultural and political situation in the US. I went to see Katy Perry on Saturday night at her Kansas City stop on the Lifetimes Tour. I’ve enjoyed Katy Perry’s music and performances over the years. When I heard Katy was coming to town I checked the ticket prices and there were options within my entertainment budget. I got my pal Megan to come out with me for the evening.
Katy Perry is receiving a lot of criticism and ridicule on social media right now. Katy is being maligned for her trip to space. I agree that space flight was a stupid waste of time but I also don’t care and no one asked my opinion. The Lifetimes Tour is being called a haphazard flop on social media.
I enjoyed the show and the T Mobile center looked like a full house once Katy came on stage. The production value was high and the show was very creative. The performance intertwined a sci fi story line, big screen visuals and audience participation. It was fun and a great way to spend a Saturday night with an old friend.
If you have enjoyed pop music in the 21st century I think you would enjoy the Lifetimes Tour.

Coffee Creamer Review: Wedding Cake ☕💒💔
I’m amazed at all the variations of coffee creamers that the industry keeps imaging. I recently tried International Delight “Wedding Cake” coffee creamer. They aren’t kidding it tastes like white cake frosting. The reality show “Love is Blind” is advertised on the creamer packaging. I’ve never watched “Love is Blind” but reality shows about relationships tend to feature someone being humiliated. The creamer is sweet at first but turns a little bitter. Yikes. Is this intentional? Is this a metaphor for love, romance and marriage? Was the flavor inspired by appearing on reality TV?
It’s a strange taste and I wouldn’t buy this again. I also don’t want to be reminded of regret, betrayal and disappointment while having my morning coffee. No one needs that first thing in the morning.

I’ve wanted to be a trash collector since I was a kid. I like how they hang onto the back of the trash truck while it’s in motion. It looks fun. Jumping off the back of the truck and running to get the trash bags looks fun to me too. I’ve never pursued that career for the following reasons:
I’m sure it’s gross.
I don’t want to get callouses from hanging onto the back of the garbage truck.
I live in a climate that gets very cold and very hot.
They get up too early
I don’t like male dominated jobs.
