What advice would you give to your teenage self?
I wouldn’t change anything. There are no real regrets. Gen X grew up with a lot of gas lighting. It’s no one’s fault except the liars, gas lighters and opportunists. Even if I could do things all over again and get to the same point I’m sure I would look back and think I should have done something different. I see the error in some of my young ways but it was mostly youthful delusion, optimism and wide eyed innocence. Now it’s decades later. I’ve had many experiences and have met many people. This stage of my life can be called sage, wisdom and possibly bitterness. But I’ve also become more sensitive, pensive and prayerful. Good grief.
You live, learn and go through different phases that all offer opportunities for growth and wisdom.
