It’s a free country. Americans can live how they choose. But I’m unsure why churches are observing Pride Month. One of the churches in this video is in NYC. There are numerous places for people to celebrate Pride Month if they choose.
Churches shouldn’t promote liberal or conservative politics. Neither are biblical. This is why there should be a separation of church and state. Politics and religion can not mix. It simply can’t work in the US.
Furthermore, the Bible is patriarchal and heteronormative. It’s OK of people don’t agree with that but a church is supposed to be pleasing to God. I don’t think churches should speak against Pride Month either. It’s a free country.
Churches need to do their job. They have plenty to worry about without involving themselves in culture wars of any sort. Every individual is affirmed through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Flags don’t mean anything we eternally.
Put God first and worship God only!
