Kathryn Krick is a preacher and social media influencer from Los Angeles. She has her critics but she is very popular too. During the pandemic Kathrn became famous when a video of her casting a demon out of a person went viral on social media. From there she built a ministry on line and in person in Los Angeles. Not long ago I watched her appearance on “The Tamron Hall Show”.
I was skeptical right off the bat. I still am. Kathryn reminds me of faith healer Benny Hinn who is a proven scammer. I decided to hear Kathryn out. I listened to all three of her books on audio book. They’re OK. I’m glad I read them instead of listening to what others have to say about Kathryn.

I enjoyed “Unlock Your Deliverance” the most. The book had some interesting things to say that I can apply to my beliefs. This sounds odd but I think Christians need to be more sensitive to spiritual matters overall. I also think some of her teachings are a red flag and the making of a cult.
I have a lot of questions about Kathryn’s back story and the man she calls her spiritual father. She’s from the east coast and moved to L.A. She traveled to his home country of Tanzania and received the anointing which gave her the ability to cast out demons. Then she returned to L.A. We will never know the truth.
Kathryn believes she is a chosen vessel that is anointed through impartation by her spiritual father and has the ability to heal people from demonic oppression. She thinks illness is demonic oppression. Keep in mind that she became well known during a plague.
Kathryn implies that she and her church offer healing. No church unlike hers can offer the same thing. That sounds like a cult to me. I think Kathryn’s teaching at best is personal conviction being treated as gospel. That’s the making of a cult too. At worst it’s a scam. Or maybe Kathryn is absolutely right but I’m too ignorant to see it. I can’t say for sure.
If you’re curious read Kathryn’s books. I personally don’t think you’re missing out on much if you don’t. In fact you might be better off.
