What would you change about modern society?

I think individuals lack humility in modern times.   There is a lot of selfishness and unearned self importance that leads to other problems.  We have a lot of sociopath under currents in modern American society because of the self centeredness.  It’s dangerous.

Aside from the narcissistic threads of modern society that may just be the  human condition modern society is great and we are very blessed.  I look forward to what advancements develop next.

What do you listen to while you work?

I have a 9-5 cubicle job.  At work I listen to a lot of You Tube videos.   I mostly listen to news, music and sometimes audio books.

If you could host a dinner and anyone you invite was sure to come, who would you invite?

I would invite my favorite You Tubers.  I don’t  remember all their names.  It would be an interesting and eclectic group of people and the conversation would cover a broad range of topics.  Religion, exercise, fashion, politics, celebrities, music and sports would be covered.

List 10 things you know to be absolutely certain.

This post applies to adults.   I think adults are responsible for children.   Children are entitled to more space and grace for growth.   Children are entitled to attention and love from the adults in their lives.  Childhood needs to be respected. ❤️

1.  I have faith that God and the Bible are real and tell the truth.  I’m most certain about that.  I’m not certain about much else.  The rest is opinion.

2.  Every adult is in charge of their own life and you will reap what you sow.  There is no getting around that.

3.  Life isn’t fair.  Sometimes that works against you but sometimes it works in your favor.

4.  Life doesn’t offer promises or guarantees.

5.  No one is owed anything and that’s a two way street.

6.  I’m not special and you’re not either and neither is anyone else.

7.  Appreciate those that display kindness because they didn’t have to do that.

8.  Cherish healthy, loving relationships with friends and family.  Those connections mean a lot.  They chose to love you and they didn’t have to.

9.  Discernment is extremely important.   Discernment comes from reading the Bible and prayer.  If it’s not coming from the Bible it’s just suspicion and paranoia that will cause you to have a hard heart.

10.  Do not harm or disturb.  

What could you let go of, for the sake of harmony?

A cantankerous relationship without good communication and questionable intentions.
