Question of the Day 6.15.24💿📻🎵
What’s the oldest thing you own that you still use daily?
I actually stored it in the basement a few weeks ago. I have a radio that I got for Christmas around 1988. It is a boom box with a CD player. CDs were new technology then. I remember receiving my gift.
The radio still works and I still have CDs. I may get it out of the basement and put it back in place. I’m still deciding how I like using a Bluetooth speaker with an MP3 player. There are pros and cons.

Have a wonderful day. Don’t forget to pray. 🙏✝️

Question of the Day 6.9.24
Do you remember your favorite book from childhood?
Beat the Turtle Drum by Constance Green is ny favorite childhood book. I read that book in the fifth grade and it made me cry. A book had never made me cry before.
A young girl died in an accident while playing with her sister. The book talks about how the family copes with the loss from the point of view of the surviving sister.

Product Review: My Fake Stanley Tumbler ☕️
Stanley tumblers are a recent trend. I learned of the craze through social media. Consumers waited outside stores and rushed displays to clear out the store’s inventory of the tumblers within minutes. The tumblers run between $30-$90. I wouldn’t pay that much for a mug. Another travel mug. But I did get a look alike from the discount retailer Dollar General for $12.
I get why this style of mug is popular even though I wouldn’t choose to wait outside a big box retailer, race other customers and pay such a high price for one. I use it for iced coffee in the mornings. It’s perfect for my morning commute to work. It fits in the car cup holder. The mug is stainless steel and keeps liquids cold or hot for several hours. It has a handle and a straw (reusable). I like the mug and enjoy using it.
I would caution using the tumbler if you are going to use it for caffeinated or alcoholic beverages. The tumbler is big. I think it is 40 oz. You will consume large quantities of your beverage of choice without thinking about it. I’m coming down from a caffeine rush as I write this. The extra caffeine made me to be scatter brained and restless. If anyone uses this for alcohol they may end up in the back of an ambulance.

If mugs are not your latte factor these are less expensive options for you.
