  • Question of the Day 6.1.24 💻🖥📱

How do you know when it’s time to unplug? What do you do to make it happen?

I’ve been chronically on line since 2010.  That’s the best answer I can give you.

  • Question of the Day 5.30.24👭❤️

What quality do you value most in a friend?

Caring.  Other qualities don’t really matter if friends don’t genuinely care about each other’s well being.

  • Interior Spaces 🪴

I’ve been inspired by a interior design accounts on Twitter. I’ve cleaned out closets, put a few things in storage, reorganized and added color. I bought a throw pillows for my bed from a home decor shop. I bought a few items from a thrift shop to organize my desk. I have a few plants that do wonders for a room. Plants (healthy) give a room an organic feel and give room life and color.

The effort and expense has been minimal but I’ve gotten a great return. The spaces I’ve been working on look warm and inviting. My space is better organized and peaceful. I love it and plan to slowly upgrade my home decor in the near future.

I added artificial garland with baby’s breath as a window treatment and real and artificial plants and throw pillows to sea foam colored room.  The additions tied existing decor together well.

  • Question of the Day 5.29.24 ☠️

Have you ever broken a bone?

No.  I’ve been fortunate to not have any accidents or experience violence. I don’t do any activities that would result in broken bones.

  • Question of the Day 5.28.24 ✝️🙏

    Do you practice religion?

Yes.  I read the Bible and pray to Jesus Christ who I believe is our savior.   I support a local church ministry.   I have a Bible Study on You Tube.  Take a look at my channel, like, comment and subscribe.

  • Question of the Day 5.27.24💻

Do you remember life before the internet?

Yes I do.  There are pros and cons.  Internet access is expensive and it’s become a necessity to participate in modern society.  We pay for internet access to patronize for profit businesses and government websites where we pay fees and taxes.

The internet has made it easier for organizations to collect money and it has lowered their operating costs.  There are some benefits but I don’t think every day people benefit from the internet that much.  The internet takes more than it gives.

  • Question of the Day 5.26.25

What does “having it all” mean to you? Is it attainable?

Tough question.  I think you can be blessed and have a lot to be grateful for but still not have it all.  I think having it all would be whatever you envisioned for yourself when you were a young adult.

By that standard I do not have it all. I do not have a fabulous career and never married and had children.  I expected all of that to come my way.  However, I feel like my life is rich in ways I wouldn’t have expected.

I think that a person can have it all but not necessarily all at the same time.   That’s especially true for women.  There is a saying that says life is short.   It’s really kind of long if you’re blessed that way.  There are opportunities for different versions of yourself.

  • Question of the Day 5.25.24 🥶

How do you feel about cold weather?

I live in a climate where I experience all four seasons and I appreciate them all.  Missouri is a state with a lot of natural beauty in three of the four seasons.  Winter is mostly hideous in Missouri.

Once Christmas is over winter is lousy. Snow is pretty for an hour or less.   As soon as snow is walked or driven though it looks like vomit on a gray scale.  When it warms up snow is a gray, soupy, wet mess.  If temperatures go back down the slushy, dirty mess freezes and has little dirty particles in it.

Without any snow the Missouri landscape is dry, barren and beige colored.  It goes on for miles.  It’s very unpleasant.

I like winter because I prefer the winter wardrobe.   I enjoy sweaters, sweatshirts and boots.  I haven’t regularly worn shorts since the early 2000s.

I love a good outerwear ensemble.   I also enjoy winter indoor activities like reading, watching football and cooking things like chili and roasts.

All seasons have something to offer.  All are necessary.  I enjoy something about all seasons.
