Dear future self,

The world is crazy, unjust and cold and I’m sure it’s gotten worse but I know you well and I’m confident you made the best of things and maximized every opportunity that came our way.  That’s how I’ve managed our life so far. 

I’m probably more than half way through our journey.  All things considered we’ve done well for ourselves.  The world is crazy, hectic but exciting and beautiful.  I hope we’ve been blessed and had more adventures in the latter part of our story.  I have faith in God and our talents, gifts, abilities and blessings.  I’m confident that we did well in our lifetime.

I have a middle name but I prefer not to share it here. I like it because both of my grandmothers had the same middle name.

Struggles have helped me appreciate growth.  Past lessons help me to maintain gains that I’ve made.

I think some things are fate/destiny/God’s plan.  I think some things are a matter of life becoming what we make of it.  Both are valid and one does not cancel out the other.
