Write about your approach to budgeting.
Do the math. Put the numbers in front of you so you know what you have or don’t have. Knowing the numbers is the first step to creating a plan. Math is a great reality check. ➗ ➖➕✖️🟰

Buy groceries and fill up your gas tank when you get paid. 🛒⛽
Save some money. Sign up for your employer’s 401k program and/or set up a Roth IRA. The younger you are the better. Have a savings account for out of the ordinary expenses. Your near and far future self will appreciate it. 🏦
Don’t be too frugal. You need to enjoy the fruits of your labor and enjoy your life. Live a little. Treat yourself. 💃🏿

Question of the Day 2.9.24
Daily writing promptAre there any activities or hobbies you’ve outgrown or lost interest in over time?I like out. Out has changed as I’ve gotten older. When I was younger out was parties, nightclubs and bars. I don’t go out like I use to. Now, out is more exclusive events such as concerts and sporting events or an afternoon walk in the park. Out also starts and ends a lot earlier than it use to for me.

Question of the Day 2.5.24
Wake up around 9am, read for a while, have a nice breakfast, take time for prayer, do an out door activity of some sort, come home and have a nice dinner, read some more or watch TV, go back to bed. That doesn’t sound like much but that would kill an entire day.

Question of the Day 2.2.24
I like to cook chicken breast. I keep them on hand because they are easy to prepare. I’m not a great cook but I’m a practical cook. I usually bake chicken breasts in an oven after seasoning them with whatever I have on hand (always salt and pepper maybe Lawry’s Seasoning Salt, lemon pepper or garlic salt, whatever). Prices have increase over the last few years but they are still relatively inexpensive. Chicken breast is a good main course and with a side or two of your choice you have a filling, healthy, tasty, cost effective dinner and perhaps left overs for lunch the next day.
