I eat meat and I enjoy it. I also think I could live without it. I enjoy a good steak but I don’t have the appreciation for beef that some do. I keep a pack of chicken breast in my freezer. Chicken breast is inexpensive, easy to fix and makes a good dinner with sides.
I’ve never tried to go without meat. I could possibly be a vegetarian but I couldn’t be vegan. I think dairy would be a lot harder to give up than meat. I don’t realistically think I could be a vegetarian unless I was able to do all of my own food preparation and cooking. If I ever have a life situation where I can do all of my own cooking I would consider a vegetarian lifestyle.

Holiday Season Review: Coffee Creamers and Grounds
White Chocolate Raspberry Creamer
I really enjoyed this creamer. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I reminds me of chocolate covered cherries or cream filled chocolates. This International Delight creamer has a luxurious taste to it.
Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie
I liked this creamer a lot. The name says it all. It’s very buttery and creamy. This isn’t a good choice for a person looking for a strong chocolate flavor. However, I think a chocolate lover would enjoy this creamer. Coffee Mate did a great job with this creamer.
Maple Pecan Coffee Grounds
These Starbucks coffee grounds have a nice flavor and a wonderful scent. When these grounds brew they smell like pancakes. You’ll love it. I would pair these coffee grounds with a basic creamer. Nothing more exotic than French Vanilla. That would be doing to much. But these grounds are very good.

My Review: I’m Glad It’s Christmas
I watched “I’m Glad It’s Christmas” recently. It’s OK. It’s a very basic Christmas movie plot. I don’t even have to go into it. Legendary soul singer Gladys Knight is in this movie. She had a small part. I was disappointed to see how small her part was because Gladys Knight was who made me want to watch the movie.
If you like Christmas movies you will like “I’m Glad It’s Christmas”. If you like Gladys Knight you might be a bit disappointed. The movie is wholesome and lighthearted nonetheless.

When Does the Holiday Season Start? 🍂☕🎃🥧🦃🎄
Thanksgiving use to be thought of the start of the holiday season. A few weeks ago, in early November I shopped around for Thanksgiving decorations. I like to shop for holiday decorations at Dollar Tree, Hobby Lobby and At Home. I couldn’t find what I was looking for between those retailers.
The Thanksgiving decorations were leftover Fall decorations. The closest Thanksgiving decoration I could find was a Fall decoration that said “Thankful and Grateful”. I was looking for turkeys, Pilgrims, cornucopias or pumpkins. It’s OK if leaves and acorns are on the decoration but I didn’t want that to be the entire decoration.
The holiday season seems to start now with the first cool air of Fall. The release of pumpkin spice products for the year has eclipsed Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is wedged between Fall and Halloween and Christmas.
Christmas season crept up to right after Halloween. Thanksgiving got squeezed out.
Thanksgiving decorations may not sell well because many do not want to celebrate what it commemorates if you veer from the white washed, water down, easily digestible telling of history. I get it and I understand. I pick my battles, enjoy holidays and think turkeys dressed in Pilgrim outfits are cute. I finally found something on Temu. I found that disk with a picture of a turkey dressed up like a Puritan. It’s smaller than I would have liked but there isn’t much of a selection. I put the disk in the center of my Fall wreath. I think it turned out well.
Thank you China for making some old fashioned Thanksgiving decorations.

Is there an age or year of your life you would re-live?
No. I have many great experiences and memories but I wouldn’t want to relive any of it. I want to have new experiences in my current stage in life and create more great memories with old friends and new.
